Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has acknowledged that Erling Haaland may not be able to play until next month due to a setback in his recovery from injury.
Haaland has been sidelined since mid-December with a foot injury, causing him to miss the last eight matches for City.
Despite returning to training last week, Guardiola has ruled out the possibility of Haaland featuring against Newcastle United on Saturday evening.
Guardiola expressed hope that Haaland would be ready by the end of the month, stating that the recovery from the bone injury is taking longer than expected and emphasizing how much the team has missed him.
