Spain court dismissed Vinicius racism case due to lack of evidence

A recent court ruling in Spain dismissed a lawsuit concerning alleged racist abuse directed at Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior during a match against Osasuna due to insufficient evidence.

The incident, which occurred in February 2023, involved a spectator in the crowd reportedly making racist remarks towards Vinicius, who has been a vocal advocate against racism in Spanish football.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time he has encountered such abuse, as he has faced similar incidents in other stadiums as well.

In a separate case, Spanish prosecutors are pursuing legal action against four individuals suspected of hanging a dummy of Vinicius from a bridge in Madrid.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has remarked that Vinicius has sadly grown accustomed to experiencing racism in Spain.
