Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that both Malo Gusto and Christopher Nkunku are likely to be included in the squad for the upcoming Premier League match against Liverpool on Wednesday.
He expressed positivity about their recovery, stating, “I think it is good news, Malo Gusto and Christoph [Nkunku] can be in the squad for tomorrow. Travel with us, with the team, that is good news. We will see.”
Pochettino also mentioned the possibility of Senegalese striker, Nicolas Jackson, who has recently concluded his campaign in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, joining the squad for the match at Anfield.
He said, “We will wait for the last moment, but at the moment, yes, it’s good news to have two players recovered.
And to see maybe, why not, to arrive Nicolas Jackson for tomorrow and to be involved also in the game. If he can arrive.”
