Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola lauded both Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne after their dominant performance in the team’s 6-2 FA Cup fifth-round victory over Luton Town on Tuesday.
Guardiola emphasized the symbiotic relationship between the two players, highlighting their “perfect connection” on the field.
Haaland’s offensive prowess shined through with a five-goal performance, while De Bruyne orchestrated the attack, contributing four assists to the Norwegian striker.
Speaking to ITV Sports after the match, Guardiola praised their performance: “‘Erling was on fire and with Kevin the connection was perfect,’ he said.
