Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino, heaped praise on striker Nicolas Jackson, highlighting his relentless determination.
Speaking before Chelsea’s 2-2 Premier League draw against Brentford on Saturday, Pochettino acknowledged the pressure on the 22-year-old who arrived from a new league and country.
“Nico’s doing fantastic,” Pochettino said at the pre-match press conference. “I’m very impressed with his work ethic.”
Pochettino continued, commending Jackson’s maturity in handling the expectations. “He’s tough and deals with pressure very well. He never gives up, and that’s translating into goals.”
Jackson joined Chelsea last summer from Villarreal for a reported €35 million fee.
