Paris Saint-Germain seems determined to hold onto their star defender Achraf Hakimi, as reports suggest president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has shut down any talks with La Liga leaders Real Madrid.
This news comes despite Real Madrid’s reported interest in Hakimi, seeing him as the ideal reinforcement for their aging right-back position.
Hakimi, a former Real Madrid youth player himself, has impressed at PSG with his attacking contributions (four goals and five assists this season) alongside his defensive prowess.
While Hakimi’s contract runs until 2026, it appears PSG is unwilling to part ways with the 25-year-old Moroccan international, leaving Real Madrid to look elsewhere for solutions at right-back.
