Vincent Enyeama, the former Nigerian goalkeeper, has earned a spot in UEFA’s history books!
He’s been recognized as one of only four goalkeepers to ever score a goal in the Champions League.
This prestigious group includes Enyeama, alongside Ivan Provedel, Sinan Bolat, and Hans-Jörg Butt.
Enyeama etched his name in history by converting a penalty for Hapoel Tel Aviv against Olympique Lyon in 2010, though the match ended in a 3-1 defeat.
Butt, a prolific scorer amongst goalkeepers, managed three penalty conversions throughout his career with different clubs. Both Bolat and Provedel, like Enyeama, joined the club with a single penalty goal each.
