Cesc Fabregas, after assisting Arsenal’s youth teams last summer, has set his sights on managing a Premier League club.
Currently the assistant coach at Como in Italy’s Serie B, Fabregas is working towards his UEFA Pro license, a qualification required for managing top-flight teams.
“My ultimate goal is to be a head coach,” Fabregas declared to Standard Sport. “While I’m following my own path for now, I definitely see myself managing a top club in the Premier League or Champions League someday.”
Fabregas emphasizes taking the right steps in his coaching journey. “I feel ready to be a first-team coach now,” he stated. “Being an assistant or taking smaller coaching roles isn’t what I’m looking for. I have a clear vision to be a head coach, and I’m determined to find the right opportunity when the time comes.”
