Manchester United legend Andy Cole has sharply criticized the club’s handling of manager Erik ten Hag. Reports emerged recently that the club spoke to Thomas Tuchel about potentially replacing Ten Hag.
Cole, speaking to Betfred (via Mirror), called the situation “unprofessional” and damaging to Ten Hag’s authority. “For a manager to find out the club has spoken to another candidate, especially so publicly, is simply not okay,” he said.
This incident adds to the pressure surrounding Ten Hag, who is still in the early stages of his tenure at Old Trafford.
