Nigerian striker Muhamed Tijani has joined Plymouth Argyle on a season-long loan from Czech club Slavia Prague, with an option to buy.
The 23-year-old, who previously played for Nigeria’s U-20 team, scored four goals in 19 appearances for Slavia Prague last season.
Argyle manager Wayne Rooney is excited about Tijani’s potential, stating, “He brings different attributes to the squad. He’s big, athletic, and can attack space, but also hold the ball and involve teammates.
He has Europa League experience and a hunger to improve. We’re thrilled to work with him.”
