Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that both Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu will not be available for the upcoming Premier League match against West Ham.
There have been rumors on social media suggesting that Partey has returned to training, but Arteta’s statement contradicts this.
Additionally, there is uncertainty about whether either player will feature for the Gunners before they depart for international duty next month.
Partey is expected to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana, while Tomiyasu is set to represent Japan in the Asian Cup. Arteta also mentioned that there will be other absences, including the suspension of Kai Havertz, but expressed confidence in the remaining players to contribute to the team.
