Blow for Spain: Three Players Suspended Ahead of Euro 2024 Semi-Final

Spain’s Euro 2024 campaign faces a major setback as three key players are unavailable for their upcoming semi-final match.

While La Roja secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Germany to reach the last four, the win came at a cost. Midfielder Pedri suffered a knee injury in the first half and was ruled out for the rest of the tournament.

Adding to the team’s woes, three other players picked up yellow cards, triggering suspensions for the next game. Defender Dani Carvajal received a second yellow card in the match, leading to his automatic suspension.

Fellow defender Robin Le Normand and striker Alvaro Morata, who both already had one yellow card, also picked up bookings, putting them out of contention.

This means Spain will have to adjust their strategy for the semi-final against either Portugal or France, with significant players missing from the lineup.
