Manchester United bolstered their coaching staff on Thursday with the official appointments of Rene Hake and Ruud van Nistelrooy as assistant managers for Erik ten Hag.
The duo will work alongside the head coach until June 2026.
Ten Hag expressed his satisfaction with the additions, highlighting the experience, knowledge, and fresh energy they bring to the team.
“I am delighted that Rene and Ruud have agreed to join our project,” he said via the club’s website. “Their experience and knowledge will be invaluable, and they’ll add a new energy to the staff.
