Nigerian forward Victor Boniface has dismissed rumors linking him with a move to the Premier League, according to a report by DAILY POST.
Boniface had a breakout season at Bayer Leverkusen in 2023/24, despite missing significant time with injury.
He contributed a noteworthy 21 goals and 10 assists across all competitions, playing a key role in Leverkusen’s Bundesliga title win and DFB-Pokal triumph.
Reports recently emerged suggesting Boniface’s strong showing had sparked interest from English clubs. However, the 23-year-old striker has publicly stated his contentment at Leverkusen.
“I’m happy in the Bundesliga,” Boniface said during an appearance on the “Curiosity made me ask” show. “As long as I’m winning trophies here, I have no reason to consider leaving.”
