New Star Emerges! Mainoo Breaks Record in Euro 2024 Final

England midfielder Kobbie Mainoo etched his name into the record books on Sunday, becoming the third-youngest player to start a major international tournament final.

The 19-year-old Manchester United star started in England’s narrow 2-1 defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final played in Berlin, Germany.

This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Cristiano Ronaldo, who now sits at fourth place.

The top spot for youngest starter in a major tournament final belongs to the legendary Brazilian, Pelé, followed by Spain’s Lamine Yamal, who secured the second position earlier on Sunday.
