Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to Equip Referees with Communication Aids
The NFF has announced plans to introduce communication aids for referees in the upcoming 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The decision, aimed at enhancing officiating accuracy, was disclosed by NFF Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau during the annual general meeting in Abuja.
In addition to the new technology, the NFF will collaborate with international partners to provide comprehensive VAR training for match officials.
The new season is set to commence on August 31st with a clash between Rangers and El-Kanemi Warriors in Enugu.
