Chelsea Boss Gets Green Light to Offload 12 Players

Chelsea Set for Massive Squad Overhaul

Chelsea are set to undergo a significant squad overhaul this summer, with as many as 12 players facing the axe. New manager Enzo Maresca has been given the green light to reshape the squad as the club looks to streamline its bloated roster and reduce its wage bill.

High-profile names such as Ben Chilwell, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Romelu Lukaku are among those facing uncertain futures. The club has struggled to offload Lukaku in previous transfer windows and will be keen to find a buyer for the Belgian striker.

Youngsters like Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana could also be moved on as Chelsea seek to rejuvenate their squad. With Malang Sarr already departing, the likes of Alfie Gilchrist, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Andrey Santos are expected to be loaned out to gain valuable experience.

As Maresca looks to implement his tactical vision, a significant squad overhaul is on the cards for Chelsea.
