Haaland Hat-trick Powers City Past Chelsea
Erling Haaland was in unstoppable form as Manchester City cruised to a 4-2 victory over Chelsea in a pre-season friendly. The Norwegian striker netted a hat-trick, capitalizing on defensive errors to score twice within the opening five minutes.
City dominated proceedings, with Oscar Bobb adding a third goal before Haaland completed his treble. Chelsea managed to pull goals back through Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke but it was too little too late for the Blues.
Haaland’s clinical finishing once again showcased his lethal ability in front of goal as City laid down a marker ahead of the new season.
