Ten Hag Encourages Rashford to Refocus
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has urged Marcus Rashford to prioritize his career and improve his performance.
Rashford faced a challenging season last year, struggling with form and facing disciplinary action. His poor performances led to his exclusion from the England squad for Euro 2024.
Ten Hag believes that Rashford has the potential to regain his top form, but he emphasized the need for the forward to address his off-field behavior and maintain a professional attitude.
By focusing on his training, match preparation, and overall lifestyle, Rashford can rediscover his best form and contribute significantly to Manchester United’s success.
“Marcus Rashford has also experienced, he knows when there are setbacks, how to get fightback, how to set his career, his performance.
“He took control of it and I think he is on the way back,” Ten Hag said ahead of Man United’s Premier League tie with Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
“At the end of the day, he has to do it by himself. He has to set his life right, his training attitude right, his match attitude right.
“When he sets his professionalism he will perform because he is a class player.”
