Barcelona Faces Financial Fallout from Lewandowski Transfer
Barcelona’s recent financial statements have revealed that the club still owes money to several clubs related to the transfer of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich in 2022.
The Catalan giants have outstanding debts totaling €10.4 million to Bayern Munich alone. Additionally, Barcelona owes smaller amounts to six other clubs involved in the transfer process.
In total, Barcelona’s short-term debt amounts to €45 million, while its long-term debt stands at €102.6 million.
The club also has significant debts related to other recent transfers, including Raphinha from Leeds United and Jules Kounde from Sevilla.
Barcelona’s financial situation is a cause for concern, and the club will need to address these debts to ensure its long-term financial stability.
