Tuchel Emerges as Potential England Manager
Thomas Tuchel, the former Bayern Munich manager, is reportedly in discussions to become the next permanent manager of the England national team.
Tuchel has been out of work since leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season. He has been linked with several managerial positions, including at Manchester United.
According to German journalist Christian Falk, Tuchel is one of the candidates being considered for the vacant England job. The Three Lions are still searching for a permanent replacement for Gareth Southgate, who resigned following their defeat in the 2024 European Championship final.
Interim manager Lee Carsley has been in charge of England’s last three matches, but his chances of landing the job permanently have been diminished after the team’s recent loss to Greece.
Tuchel’s experience and success as a manager make him an attractive candidate for the England job. However, he faces competition from other potential candidates, including Eddie Howe, Graham Potter, and even Pep Guardiola.
The English Football Association will need to carefully consider its options and select the manager who they believe is best suited to lead the team to future success.
