Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has discussed the club’s recent draw with Chelsea and the departure of former manager Erik ten Hag.
Fernandes expressed disappointment over Ten Hag’s dismissal, stating, “We all know that when the manager leaves, everyone is involved but only one pays. I spoke with the manager and apologized if there was something I could have done better for him, but I feel really disappointed that he’s gone.”
The Portuguese midfielder also commented on the upcoming appointment of Ruben Amorim as the new United manager. “I have spoken with him once or twice when I have been to Sporting games, but nothing major.
I watch every game of Sporting as they are my team there, but we never know what the manager is going to do when he arrives here. For now, we focus on everything we can do to give the best for Ruud.”
