Arsenal Identify Martinelli as Saka’s Replacement
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has identified Gabriel Martinelli as a potential replacement for the injured Bukayo Saka. Saka was forced off in the first half of Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury.
Speaking to the media, Arteta acknowledged the need to find a suitable replacement for the injured winger, stating, “He’s played there before and he played there against Everton in the last match of last season. He did really well. He’s a good option to have. We are on it.”
Martinelli is expected to fill the void left by Saka in the Arsenal lineup, with the Brazilian winger possessing the pace, skill, and attacking flair to make a significant impact.
This news comes as a blow to Arsenal, who are currently competing on multiple fronts. However, the emergence of Martinelli as a potential replacement provides a degree of optimism for the club.
