Barcelona striker Asisat Oshoala is reportedly in talks for a surprising move to the Women’s Super League team, Manchester United.
Oshoala was previously linked with Man United in the summer of 2021, but Barcelona managed to persuade her to sign a new contract.
However, it is now believed that Man United is keen on bolstering their attacking options and sees Oshoala as a potential addition to their squad in January.
The team had initially been pursuing the signing of Brazil international Kerolin Nicoli, but a recent injury has prompted a shift in their plans towards Oshoala.
With Manchester United trailing behind first-placed Chelsea in the Women’s Super League, the addition of Oshoala could potentially improve their position in the standings.
Oshoala has been with Barcelona since 2019 and has an impressive track record, having played 108 games in the Primera División Femenina and scored 92 goals for the Spanish club.
