Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, acknowledged that his team is in contention for the Premier League title alongside Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.
He made these comments following a 3-1 victory over Everton.
Although Everton took the lead with a goal from Jack Harrison, City responded with goals from Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez, and Bernardo Silva, securing the win.
Guardiola emphasized that despite a challenging start with just one win in six games, they are in a competitive position, with Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Aston Villa also vying for the top spot in the league standings.
