Ten Hag urges Man Utd to work together after West Ham loss

Manchester United’s poor performance hit a new low with a 2-0 defeat against West Ham, leading to a plea from manager Erik ten Hag for the team to stick together and remain calm.

The team has struggled, winning only one of their last seven matches, failing to score in four consecutive games for the first time since 1992, and facing the most pre-Christmas losses in all competitions since 1930.

Despite recent reports of player discontent with Ten Hag’s management style, the Dutch coach urged unity and reminded the team of past successes while acknowledging current underperformance and attributing it, in part, to injuries.

United, currently in eighth place in the Premier League and eliminated from the Champions League and League Cup, faces a challenging period. Ten Hag highlighted the team’s failure to convert chances, particularly singling out an opportunity missed by Alejandro Garnacho.

David Moyes, now managing West Ham, delivered further disappointment to United, as the team continues its struggle to live up to the success of the Sir Alex Ferguson era. Ten Hag emphasized the need for consistent defending and the team’s ability to replicate their strong performance against Liverpool.
