The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has dismissed rumours that it has unveiled a new kit for the Men’s National Team ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, which will start in Cote’ D’Ivoire in January 2024. Naija News reports that on Thursday, images of the retro kit design spread online, and some media outlets claimed that Nike, the company that makes Nigeria’s sports jersey, revealed it.
“We have noticed rumours about a new kit launch between NIKE and the senior Men’s National team on social media. We want to tell the public that this is not true. We have no new kit for the Super Eagles for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations that will take place in Cote’D’Ivoire next month,” the statement said.
