Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova announced on Instagram that she and her husband Jiri Vanek are expecting a baby in the summer of 2024.
As a result, she is putting her tennis career on hold to prepare for this new chapter in her life.
Despite missing the upcoming Australian season and the sport she loves, Kvitova is looking forward to spending quality time at home in preparation for the arrival of their baby.
