Chelsea is reportedly looking into the possibility of signing Girona’s Artem Dovbyk as a short-term solution to their pursuit of Victor Osimhen, who is unlikely to join in the current transfer window due to a new deal with Napoli.
The Sun, via Teamtalk, has suggested that Chelsea is interested in bringing Dovbyk to Stamford Bridge this January. Dovbyk has been performing well in La Liga, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists in 17 games this season.
Although his contract with Girona runs until 2028, which could make him expensive, he would still be a more affordable option compared to Osimhen.
Chelsea is seeking offensive reinforcements, with Brentford’s Ivan Toney also being linked to the club.
