Young Academy striker Joe Hugill has moved from Manchester United to join League One side Burton Albion on loan until the end of the season.
This move follows Hugill’s recent contract extension with Manchester United, committing him to the club until 2026 with the option for an additional year.
Hugill has been actively training with Manchester United’s first team under manager Erik ten Hag this season and was even named as a substitute on four occasions, including most recently for the Emirates FA Cup win at Wigan Athletic.
This loan to Burton Albion will provide Hugill with valuable experience at the Pirelli Stadium.
