Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is facing a potential two-week fine amounting to £650,000 after being seen at a nightclub in Northern Ireland.
The incident led to his absence from training and subsequently, from Man United’s recent game against Newport County.
Despite being stated as “ill” and missing the match, Rashford was apparently spotted at the Belfast nightclub.
Man United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has indicated that he will address the situation, but has not confirmed whether Rashford misled him regarding the nightclub visit.
Ten Hag’s post-match comments expressed that Rashford reported as unwell and stated that the matter is internal and will be addressed accordingly.
