Chippa United, a South African club, is requesting €2 million to sell their Nigerian goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali.
Nwabali has been a standout performer for Nigeria in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, keeping three clean sheets in four matches.
His impressive displays for Chippa United have attracted interest from Union St Gilloise, a Belgian Pro League team.
However, Nwabali’s participation in Nigeria’s AFCON 2023 quarter-final against Angola is uncertain due to a knee injury sustained during the Super Eagles’ Round of 16 victory over Cameroon.
