Seaman slams Arsenal’s reported pursuit of Neto: “We don’t need him!”

Arsenal legend David Seaman throws shade on Pedro Neto transfer rumors.

While acknowledging Neto’s talent (“He’s a special player for Wolves”), Seaman believes the Gunners should prioritize their current squad over making new signings like Neto.

Speaking to Parimatch, Seaman questioned the need for Neto, stating, “When you look at what’s already in the Arsenal team, you don’t really want to disrupt that, so probably not.”

He emphasized the team’s strength, highlighting their impressive performance against Tottenham, specifically Neto’s contribution in setting up the second goal (“broke from his own half, took it all the way and then squared it”).

This implies Seaman believes strengthening other areas might be more strategic than adding another attacker, despite Neto’s individual skills.

This opinion comes amidst ongoing transfer rumors linking Neto to Arsenal and their rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
