The planned international friendly between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Argentina has been scrapped, leaving the Nigerians searching for a new opponent.
Visa processing issues reportedly caused the cancellation, a further blow after the match was initially moved from China to the US due to a disagreement involving Argentine star Lionel Messi.
Despite the setback, the Super Eagles remain focused on their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and the Benin Republic in June.
Argentina, meanwhile, will face Costa Rica and El Salvador in their upcoming fixtures.
