Manchester United legend Stan Collymore has thrown his weight behind Roberto De Zerbi as a potential successor to Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag’s position at Old Trafford is shaky due to a string of disappointing results.
In contrast, De Zerbi has been lauded for his work at Brighton & Hove Albion since taking the helm in 2022.
Collymore, speaking to GIVEMESPORT, believes De Zerbi possesses the necessary qualities to lead the Red Devils.
“Manchester United needs a specific type of manager,” Collymore said. “While there are options, I have a clear favorite: Roberto De Zerbi.
Brighton’s recent form hasn’t been ideal, but that shouldn’t diminish De Zerbi’s talent. He’s a world-class coach, and his personality and leadership skills make him a perfect fit.”
