Following a dramatic penalty shootout defeat that sent Arsenal through to the Champions League quarterfinals, Porto manager Sérgio Conceição made a serious accusation against his counterpart, Mikel Arteta.
Porto, trailing 1-0 on aggregate after the first leg, conceded an equalizer to Leandro Trossard before halftime at the Emirates.
The match remained deadlocked through extra time, forcing a penalty shootout where Arsenal emerged victorious thanks to David Raya’s heroics with two saves.
Post-match tensions flared when Conceição was questioned about a heated exchange with Arteta at the final whistle.

He claimed Arteta insulted his family from the sideline during the game, using Spanish language.
“He insulted someone who is no longer with us,” said a visibly upset Conceição.
“He should focus on coaching his talented team instead.”
Arsenal have yet to respond to these allegations.
