Redknapp Impressed by Chelsea’s Gusto
Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has been impressed by the performances of Chelsea defender Malo Gusto this season.
Redknapp highlighted Gusto’s improvement, particularly praising his display against Newcastle: “Malo Gusto keeps getting better and better for Chelsea.
I thought he was the best player on the pitch against Newcastle,” he told BetVictor via London World.
This praise comes as Gusto has stepped up due to an injury to Chelsea captain Reece James.
The 20-year-old Frenchman has seized the opportunity, making 28 appearances and registering seven assists across all competitions.
Redknapp further emphasized Gusto’s effectiveness, stating that opposing wingers “didn’t get a sniff” against him.
This positive assessment adds to the growing reputation of the young defender.
