Carragher Questions Ten Hag’s Future After Man Utd’s Scare

Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher raised doubts about Erik ten Hag’s future as Manchester United manager after their dramatic FA Cup win over Coventry City.

United cruised to a seemingly comfortable 3-0 lead with goals from Maguire, McTominay, and Fernandes. However, a shocking second-half comeback from the Championship side saw Coventry level the score at 3-3, forcing the game to penalties. Though United emerged victorious in the shootout, Carragher remained unconvinced.

On Sky Sports, Carragher expressed concern about United’s overall performance and the team’s mentality. He questioned whether the win masked deeper issues, stating, “That dressing room is probably the most embarrassed dressing room from a team that has just won a big game.”

Carragher went on to say, “You can’t even celebrate that win… I just don’t see any progress” under Ten Hag’s leadership.
