Arteta’s Response to the Potential Absence of Cole Palmer for the Arsenal vs Chelsea Match

Arsenal’s head coach, Mikel Arteta, has emphasized that Chelsea’s strength is not dependent on a single player, even with the uncertainty surrounding Cole Palmer’s participation in the upcoming Premier League game on Tuesday.

Arteta highlighted that Chelsea boasts players with exceptional talent across their lineup.

Palmer, who leads Chelsea’s scoring charts this season with 23 goals across various tournaments, was seen with a bandage on his left thigh before the team’s FA Cup semi-final loss to Manchester City, suggesting he might be dealing with an injury.

Nonetheless, the club has indicated that sickness might prevent Palmer from playing in the upcoming match at the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta remarked, “I’m not sure… their player availability is beyond our control. Our focus is on our own team.

“No matter who they field, the caliber of their squad is impressive.

“In my opinion, they are performing quite well, even better than some might suggest. We’re definitely in for a challenging game.”
