Fulham’s Iwobi Targets 250th Premier League Appearance Against Crystal Palace

Fulham’s Alex Iwobi is on the cusp of a Premier League milestone as he chases his 250th appearance in the competition.

The versatile midfielder could reach the landmark this afternoon (Saturday) when the Cottagers host Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage.

Iwobi’s Premier League journey began back in November 2015 when he stepped onto the pitch for Arsenal against Swansea City. Coming on as a late substitute for Mezut Ozil, the then-teenager took his first steps in what has become a successful Premier League career.

The 27-year-old Nigerian amassed 100 league appearances for the Gunners before seeking a new challenge at Everton in 2019.

There, he added another 123 Premier League outings to his tally across four seasons. Since joining Fulham last summer, Iwobi has already featured in 26 league matches, bringing him to the brink of his 250th appearance.
