Liverpool icon Graeme Souness took aim at Mohamed Salah, calling him “one of the most selfish players” he’s seen. Speaking on a podcast, Souness also predicted Salah’s departure from Anfield this summer.
This comes amidst renewed speculation about the 31-year-old’s future after a visible disagreement with manager Jurgen Klopp during their recent 2-2 draw.
Souness elaborated, stating that Salah’s frustration with substitutions shows selfishness. “You want players who are hungry for more goals, not upset at being taken off after scoring two.”
He further mentioned past disagreements between Salah and former teammate Sadio Mane.
