According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has initiated contact with the representatives of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. This suggests interest from the Blues in potentially signing the Nigerian forward this summer.
Osimhen, 25, is reportedly a target for several top European clubs, with Chelsea facing competition from French giants PSG. However, Romano suggests Osimhen might favor a move to the Premier League over a return to Ligue 1 (where he previously played for Lille).
While Chelsea explores its options, Romano clarifies that they haven’t identified a single “top target” yet. He explains on Mics’ YouTube page: “They have a shortlist of players… for each position, but you still don’t know who is the top target.
At the end of the day, you are already speaking to agents to discuss opportunities. For example, Chelsea spoke to different agents for the striker position, including those of Sesko and Osimhen.”
