Good news for Manchester United fans! Defender Lisandro Martinez is expected to be back in the squad for their upcoming Premier League matches. Manager Erik ten Hag gave the update during a press conference on Tuesday.
Martinez has been sidelined since the 1-1 draw against Brentford on March 30th due to a series of injuries affecting his foot, knee, and calf. He’s only managed 11 appearances this season.
Ten Hag confirmed, “He’s trained with us recently, and if everything goes well in today’s training session, he’ll rejoin the squad.”
However, the manager remains cautious about the availability of other players like Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Willy Kambwala. Their status remains unclear.
