Rangers Retain Leon Balogun: Veteran Defender Signs Extension
Rangers manager Philippe Clement expressed his satisfaction with Leon Balogun’s decision to extend his contract with the club, keeping him at Ibrox until the end of the 2024/25 season. Balogun rejoined the Gers last summer for a second stint.
Clement highlighted Balogun’s contributions beyond his defensive skills: “I am delighted Leon has signed an extension. In my short time here, I’ve seen his impact on and off the pitch. His experience is valuable.”
Praising Balogun’s talent, the manager added, “He’s a talented defender who brings a lot to the group. I look forward to working with him next season.”
