Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has issued a statement clarifying his previous comments regarding the Club World Cup.
Ancelotti stated that his interview with Il Giornale, where he expressed concerns about the competition, was “not interpreted in the way I intended.”
He emphasized his support for the tournament, stating, “Nothing could be further from my interest than rejecting the possibility of playing” in the Club World Cup. Ancelotti sees it as “a great opportunity to continue fighting for great titles with Real Madrid.”
