France captain Kylian Mbappe sent a strong message with his return to training on Wednesday, despite sporting a bandage for his broken nose.
The injury occurred during their Euro 2024 opener against Austria. Just hours before this first public appearance since the incident, Mbappe fueled speculation with an Instagram post: “Without risks, there are no victories.”
Determined to contribute, the Real Madrid-bound forward reportedly underwent further tests on his injury.
He arrived for a late-afternoon practice session, separate from the initial team session. Mbappe began with individual exercises alongside a trainer, including running with the ball.
Later, he was seen discussing tactics with coach Didier Deschamps before joining a shooting drill with teammates.
