Newcastle United are still determined to sign young goalkeeper James Trafford from Burnley, despite recently acquiring two new shot-stoppers.
They previously offered £16 million for Trafford, which was rejected. However, they haven’t given up and might increase their offer to get closer to Burnley’s £30 million valuation.
Trafford, despite a recent dip in form, is seen as a long-term prospect for Newcastle. This potential signing would bring their goalkeeping roster to five, including Nick Pope, Martin Dubravka, the recently signed John Ruddy, and Odysseas Vlachodimos.
