Chelsea Continues to Pay Graham Potter’s £200,000 Salary A Week

Chelsea could recoup nearly £1 million if the Football Association (FA) appoints Graham Potter as the new England manager.

The report comes amidst speculation surrounding Gareth Southgate’s future with the national team.

Potter, who left Chelsea last April after a short stint, is reportedly still receiving his salary from the club until October.

However, if he is appointed England manager, the FA would reimburse Chelsea for a portion of his wages, potentially saving the club close to £1 million.

It’s worth noting that Chelsea paid Brighton a significant compensation fee of £21 million for Potter and his staff in September 2022.
