Victor Osimhen’s potential move to Paris Saint-Germain has received backing from former Nigeria winger Emmanuel Amuneke.
Osimhen, the Nigerian striker currently at Napoli, has been linked with a big-money transfer to the Ligue 1 champions this summer. His contract reportedly includes a €130 million release clause.
Amuneke, who coached Osimhen at the U-17 level for Nigeria, believes a move to PSG could benefit the player’s development.
“Paris Saint-Germain are a major club that competes in the Champions League,” Amuneke said. “If he were to move there, it would be a positive step in his career.”
Amuneke went on to highlight Osimhen’s potential for continued growth: “He has achieved a lot at Napoli, and it’s natural for him to seek opportunities to develop further. He’s a key player for Nigeria, and it’s important for him to get regular playing time. Ultimately, the decision rests with him.”
