Chelsea Target Fulham’s Pereira with Manager’s Backing
Chelsea are reportedly looking to add another signing to their squad this summer, with Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira emerging as a target. Manager Enzo Maresca has reportedly given his approval for the move.
The Blues have already been busy in the transfer window, bringing in five new players: Marc Guiu, Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman, and Renato Veiga. However, it seems they’re still looking to bolster their central midfield options.
According to Brazilian outlet Globo, Chelsea have initiated contact with Pereira’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, to discuss a potential transfer. The report further claims that manager Enzo Maresca has personally greenlit the club’s pursuit of the Brazilian international.
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to offer Fulham a sum of £35 million to secure Pereira’s signature.
